Another update...another post. Same blog, 1 day's difference. Different tone. Contrast.
darkness. coldness. confinement. helplessness. loneliness. I feel so depressed...just, oh so sad. no..not because of boredom of life. because...because. there are some things that just has to be kept private, maybe only to your closest confidantes? no no...for those of you out there thinking wai1 wai1, i'm not lovesick, lovelorn, or ANYTHING close to that. just................ feeling.. sad. depression has its merits too. they allow space and room for introspection. quietness amidst noisy, busy hubbub. cool blank amidst splashes of vibrant colour. they allow emotions to probe deeper, truer. well i don' really feel like posting anymore today....gotta sleep soon. seeya!

Ha...oops..not in the habit of updating my blog nowadays, since school reopened..coz..quite busy, yeah. But Jennifer says i'm slacky, so well :P:P:P I guess so. :D Anyway it's Computer Lesson now...:P:P:P heh. comp lesson quite slack..we're doing Macromedia Flash now but the lesson is realli slack, go on MSN and other websites during lessons...teacher realli nice and lenient heh~. Anyway, yesterday I just went to Esplanade to watch "Peony Pavillion" or "mu3 dan1 ting2", a kind of chinese opera. It's so EX!! i had student discount, and my seat yesterday was CIrcle 2 AA 32...and it was $31!! (that's half price actually). My dad had to pay 60 over bucks. didn't go cca...dad fetched me in sch at 6 pm. and sorry for this jumbled, unchronological sequence of recount, but well, i SAW MY DANCE TEACHER AT THE SHOW!!!! she was sitting about 4 seats away from me!! she actually recognised me and smiled at me...freaaakky! haha I bowed back to her...:P:P:P anyway...back to commenting about the show...it was pretty good! i mean, the acting was really excellent, and as the show progressed on, despite apparent technical difficulties and super-LOUSY english translation (the text), i actually FELT that i was THERE, at the setting, witnessing everything. traditional modern chi opera-way, there was a little screen above the theatre displaying the lyrics / words in chinese, followed by an english translation (tex) at the bottom. the english translation was LOUSY! and the comp they were using to project the words actually HANGED in the middle of the show (thus we had no words to see at all)! is this what they call.."world class"? well nvm..perhaps my expectations too high. But the chi pavillion they built in the middle of the stage, as well as the side pavillions at the side of the stage, was BEAUTIFUL! and there was an ACTUAL POND IN the theatre! (surrounding the stage)..ACTUAL (koi) FISHES in it!! as a sidenote, during the show, while they were acting / singing, the fishes actuallly tried jumping out of the pond...hahha. oh...there were REAL BIRDS too!
Then...there was this ...guy or girl? around 15 or 16 yrs old sitting next to me...this is true: for the ENTIRE show, i was TRYING to guess his / her gender...and by the end of the show, i still didn't figure out the gender...coz, that person had spikey hair, completely guy's style...and..err..that person..(i dunno whether had male or female body) :S:S the voice was...not a girl's and not a guy's..maybe is a deep girl's voice or a high guy's voice...then..that person had ear piercings! but the whole..attitude/ behaviour was like a guy!! in the end i couldn't figure whether he / she was a guy / girl. nvm about that. Peony Pavillion is divided into several Acts, much like Shakespeare's. Yesterday's was Act 1 -- The Interrupted Dream. Today's would be Act 2 -- (err...yes it's sick..but that's the actual title :S:S:S) Making Love to a Ghost....okae okae. Then Act 3 is..forgot. ACt 4...Resurrection? Act 5..fighting off the bandits. Act 6 would be the ending. Each act is a different show, but since we don't have that much money and time to watch all the acts, my family's only watching act 1 and 2. Basically Peony Pavillion is a love story, about this beautiful, talented girl called Du Liniang, who is, by the act of the Flower God, in love with a scholar, Liu Mengmei (in her dreams)...after that they meet in real life, the girl's parents dislikes him, then all ends well. Well...the show is SICK! and anyway, yesterday, the show only ended at 11.35...i got home at 12.10...so LATE!!! i nearly dozed off during the show at around 11..but then i splashed water fr my (red) waterbottle :P onto my face, and temporarily woke myself up again :P well i'm going to see it again today. sigh. that's end of IT lesson..seeya

Sorry that I’ve not updated this blog for such a loong time…main reason is coz nowadays, everytime I go online, i will go straight to MSN Messenger, thus no time to post (my posts are normally lengthy). So this makes my site kind of abandoned, doesn't it? Alright, to make up for this, i shall put several days' worth of posts here, for you to read...But before that, I wish everyone a Happy Chi New Year!
Wednesday, 29th JanWent for dental appointmen 2dae...the orthodontist make me wear fulltime elasics running vertically down, thus limiting greatly jaw movement and hence speech..VERY inconvenient. Teeth feels like i's being extracted. :S:S:S Hafta bear wih it. may be able o take off braces and put on retainers instead around May! YAY!! Thursday, 30th JanHeh...all in all, a very FUN day!! We had CNY celeb and halfday till 11 am today...first was the Chi calligraphy (chun1 lian2) contest...my chi couplets got selected to rep. class! yay! the CNY celeb was pretty cool...chi Orch presented the SYF piece for concert. pity i'm not in SYF, sigh sigh. The wu3 shu4 item was really COOL! i luv wu3 shu4!!! oh..now i know why Drama teacher Gary Tang said "tell me if you're from wu3 shu4, so I won't die.." LOL! wu3 shu4 rocks maan! (esp the SWORD one). THe xiang4 sheng1 item was really good and hilarious. *imitates actress* "i want to speak to Gary Tang...i STILL want to speak to Gary Tang.." hahaha! LOL! FUnny... So after celeb ended, i had to wait in sch coz Chi High only ended at 1.30...lousy! :P:P:P bleaahh. Went talking wif frenz, found out canteen was closed, and subsequently DRAGGED yawen to coro to eat chicken lunch with me...heh. ate v SLOWLY as usual, while yawen gobbled hers up...made her "drool" seeing that i still had a huge reserve of delicious colesaw untouched...as a consequence, i go my share of colesaw stolen..:'( LOL. Went back to sch aft a looong and filling lunch. in sch, met up wif renyi and cheng shan, then we found cheryl lim siting on the swing reading (baad for eyes!) We tried sneaking close, behind her, movie-style. that is, under my lead, we snuck behind pillars, sticking close o the wall, and doubling over giggling silently. Finally, i sneaked up behind the swing, and cheryl just turned casually and said, "hi,". Effort wasted! all started laughing...Then chengshan, renyi and i started swinging the swing hard in an attempt to make cheryl scream her wits out. the swing almost toppled! sho FUN!!! then CS, Renyi, and I went over to TCHS bus stop. Che Hao and Hao Ran only came out at 1.45 pm..sho LATE!! Then waited a loong time before hte bus came. we went up, renyi and i sat in front and the 2 goons at the back. very funny...halfway, not yet near my house, they got out! so SPASTIC!!! they said they THOUGHT they saw us coming out. SPASTIC lah! haha...renyi and i remained in the bus and alighted at Standard Chartered stop, then waited for them. then went to my condo est (dairy farm est) where renyi lives too. My MOM was home, most unexpectedly, so we made them wait at the PLAYGROUND *grin grin*, while we went to get the badminton rackets. When i came down, i found them swinging on the swings! sho FUNNY!!! i lent a racket to che hao and i got on the swing too and started competing with hao ran to see who could swing higher. i won yay! Heh~ sho fun!! (the playground's meant for children up to 12 yrs only...swing was shaking when hao ran was swinging high on it :P:P) Then renyi came down with her 2 rackets and we went to play doubles at the badminton court. Game was pretty fun, and they were quite good, i hafta admit. che hao SUPPOSED to be v good, but he's not THAT good lah. But Hao Ran was pretty good in badminton. unfair! I had to run forward and use backhand then run back to hit the shuttlecock..so exhausting! nearly smashed into the net a couple of times...:S:S:S But is v fun! haha...then haoran got complacent and sat on the ground and played, so i hit higher heh~. after that it started drizzling and was already past 3, so they went back. fortunately my racket was still in a good condition. :P:P:P bleah Today's badminton was sho FUN!! i wanna play again. next time i should make it a point to get some friends to play badminton or tabletennis with renyi at least once every 2 weeks...life should always be like this! active and fun! Friday, 31st JanWent back to NHPS today...met up wih friends. i didn't wear what i wore for the outing later coz it might be "inappropriate" haha...i wore dark blue sleeveless collared shirt and jeans. met and greeted the teachers. the teachers said i looked v diff fr pri sch me, who USED to be tanned, short-haired, and hyperactive haha...and i'm sooo not n0t NOT a "sweet young thing"...:S:S:S the movie outing was at 12.30, so Guangyan and Gordon entertained me with their cute magic tricks from 11 am till 11.35 am..they kept saying "wait, which one more impt, magic or the movie"..sho funny! haha...i gave them 10 cents and 20 cents respectively for "entertainment" haha :P:P. then darren came and gave me a pretty silver necklace! sho nice! :D:D:D Changed in Nan Hua, then went to clementi MRT, and arrived at Orchard a around 12.20pm. The chi high guys were already at the MRT station (zhengxun, haoran, kao zi chong, jez, benjamin lim, shaun seetow). Then che hao came, and they started scheming against me. EVIL! Then Joshua came. then kerryn called and said they were all at Lido and refused to come to MRT. EVIL! but i had no idea so many guys were coming! we started towards Lido, forgot about Yi An, then remembered, and went back to the MRT station to wait for him. laame! we went to Lido and i got murdered by Kerryn and the girls for bringing 9 guys when there were only 5 girls (me, kerryn, renyi, manyun, grace)..NOT MY FAULT!!! yuan1 wang4 ah!! Hero tix were sold out, so we bought Shanghai Knight instead. Josh treated me to free fillet-o-fish meal! sho generous!! :D:D:D But Kerryn stole some of my fries and Che hao stole some of my coke, so i was left with the fillet-o-fish. :S:S the coke was too sweet!! almost puked after finishing it. Then to the movie, it was sho FUNNY and HILARIOUS!!! Not bad...the Credits part was even FUNNIER!! Quote Jackie Chan "my ass is on FIRE!!" LOL! I HAVE to watch Hero...may have to borrow VCD from Haoran..dunno if he will lend. Then we went to the arcade. Heh~ I played DDR (i very enthu abt DDR one..) with che hao. he won! like, duh, he's so good in DDR. Then he went to play para para and somebody, i forgot who, ( i think is hao ran), called, "che hao, can you be more graceful?" LOL! sho funny! But he's v PRO in para para...waaah, so many combos, got "A" some more...:S:S:S Then we all played "puck"..that disc-hiting thing...very FUN! after that we all went back. It was VERY FUN lah. :D:D:D hope there'd be more of these outings :D:D:D
