haha. woke up really LATE today. somehow i had a reaally..erm.."dreamy" sleep. *laughs* LOlz. yarh! i dreamt so many dreams. see, i dreamt, then woke up (dreamily), turned around another way, slept and dreamt again, woke up, slept and dreamt again. all the way till 11 am!!! *laughs* not bad, huh. =P LOLz. okae..but you can't blame me. i slept around 2 am last night. c0z my mom went to HSA's Dinner and Dance, didn't come back till late at night, so my younger sis was wailing away all the time for "mommy" who "hasn't come back yet". *laughs* she was so scared of ghosts that she was reading right behind my computer while i was playing away on MSN (since i didn't allow her to sit in front of comp =P). *laughs* my father tried to scare her imitating a ghost wail, but hai4 wo3 shou4 ku3. (made me suffer), coz, when i finally decided to go to bed, my sis was too afraid to sleep and i had to spend 1 hour consoling and cajoling her to sleep. *laughs* she had to sleep in my room somemore. i was kept awake by her wailing the whole night. *laughs* Till Mom Came Home. =P *laughs again*
well today, I'm going to play tabletennis wif Ren!! *beams* yeah! fun, aint it? and YES! just called Denby. she agreed to join SURFclub and sponsor her membership to the SICC somemore!! luv ya, den! *hugZ* NOW we can hold our SURFclub gatherings properly in a country club. *grins* so excited about SURFclub! it's gonna turn out great!!! ^^

i'm so sorry mom....siighhh. =( will go and apologize to her as soon as she gets home....or maybe i should write a litle note and post it on her desk just before i sleep.... she's nice enough to help me print stuff and there i was nagging at her in a somewhat frustrated tone that she should have printed 6 slides per page and saved much more paper..... sigh. -----what's passed is past---- now i look back, i can't believe i got so pissed with my mom just over wasting paper. yes, it really hurts me that i somehow wasted so much paper, but she's my beloved m o m..... i'll just learn from this mistake...and i'll try and make up for this.... =)
oh yeah, and today i just started a clique with darrell gor! it's a small clique, only for 12 people. the original number was 10 but i wanted to invite more. yarh. just invited greg and sumae. only have 2 more places for ny gep. have a really hard time deciding, coz i want all my jies and meis and friends to join. for the guys' invitation...that you have to ask darrell =P the clique's gonna be really c00l!!! it's for the more active sec2 GEPpers. we're gonna meet like, biweekly, at some country club and play1 ^^ *looks forward eagerly*
oh, and i just adopted sumae as my jie (3rd one) today! ^^ actualy she was my indirect jie (coz she's elaina's jie) for quite some time but i didn' really know her.....but well, now i guess i do! hope to know her better as time goes on ^^ hehehz.

darn pissed with mom. i TOLD her sooooooooo many times for her to print the powerpoint slides SIX SLIDES PER PAGE SIX SLIDES PER PAGE *repeats 100 times* and what does she do? print ONE SLIDE PER PAGE. plus her printer is ONESIDED. that makes it WORSE. its KILLING THE TREES. i say this is bl**dy murder. the first time i'm cursing online. but i just feel like saying it. i feel so bad now. how many pieces of paper are used up just like that? HUNDREDS OF PAPERS. there are over HUNDRED SLIDES HELLO. and i spend HOURS painstakingly reducing all teh font sizes and fonts and the page widths and heights of the word docs, trying to save as much paper as i can. now i have a migraine from the hours spent in front of computer. what do i do this for? jus to save maybe a few TENS of pages. but now she happily goes clicking "print SLIDES ONE SLIDE PER PAGE. ONE-SIDED.". i was so shocked when she told me that over the phone. i was going on and on about how she was killing the trees. but did she care? all she said was a nonchalant "bu4 yao4 jin3 lah (nevermind)" in chinese and that it was the company's money and paper. but what about the TREES. its KILLING THE TREES. she doesn' feel anything at all? i feel something PIERCING my HEART. what have i just done? i have MURDERED So many TREES.
*slumps down* now i can't face it anymore especially when i see her going home, triumphantly presenting me with a thick stack of papers, all ONE-SIDED. UNRECYCLED. i am going to D I E from guilt. i am a murderer now. a murderer of trees.......

still having trouble with setting up the new site. esp the contents. and i TRIED to make the stoopid blog be nice and transparent so i could include it in the i-frame but nooooo it just had to screw up. so no choice, it's now an external window. >.<
and somehow when i go to www34.brinkster.com/snowyrose, it always appears as "page under construction". stoopid brinkster. but i HAVE posted up the index page! >.< HELP!
homework wise, still a LOT of hw uncompleted. and i haven't checked the IVLE, which is probably flooded with lots of modules and homework by now. sigh... =(

Yesterday i went over to Renyi's house straight aft bloggign and some messing around wif my site. grabbed my badminton racket, raced over to Renyi's block, took lift to 7th storey to find LiewQi and Ren coming out of the house. subsequently we made our way to the open-air badminton court (the weather was really good - no breeze and no glaring sun; the temp? -- just fine), got the security guard to chase away the kids playing soccer (o yea, really innovative kids, huh) and started playing. Liewqi and Ren played against me, but somehow they didn't seem to beat me, so Ren commented that my badminton skills had improved. half surprised, i made a slight bow and thanked her. =P LOlz. but really, i don't think i've improved. maybe just because i felt like running alot that day. =P and yes, i was wearing my hard contacts, so it was quite hard to gaze skyward. Anyway after a fun game of 30 mins, liew left at 6pm. Ren and i continued our game, and chated while we played. in the midst of the game, an eccentric caucasian came walking over the court.
He made his way to the steps of the raised platform, climbed over it, and sidewalked gingerly along the outer ledge of the overhanging garden (which was 1 storey above ground level --[the court]) to teh coconut tree, perched himself precariously on the ledge, took a towel and started whacking furiously at the coconuts!!! Ren and I were laughing so hard we had to stop the game. of course, in an attempt to be polite, we had to stifle our laughter, which wasn't very successful anyway. and none of the coconuts fell after 1 min of furious whacking. so he climbed down and left. ren thought he was trying to get something stuck down. i said no, he was whacking at the coconuts to make it fall off. free coconuts. well it is true =P. Anyway we played till 6.30, when Ren was spposed to go, she asked for the time and i lied, saying we still had a few mins more. =P we played a last competitive match, where i beat Ren 20-14!! wh00t! Actually i could have thrashed her more, but i had a streak of badluck midgame. =P LOLz. joking. but she was quite good! =P Anyway after that we went home.
Today i had green bean soup for breakfast. spent half an hour examining the porcelain bowl and spoon before actually commencing to eat. somehow i seem to love porcelain, and all other fine, delicate things alot. i could spend hours contemplating the beautiful bluish-white / green-glazed antique porcelainware in the display shelf in my home. sighz. but somehow i think China's porcelainware's standard is deproving. due to commercialisation / industrialisation i think. last time there was the Imperial Family to check on the quality of production. now? not really...

haven't blogged for a loong time. and oh YES YES YES!!!! i just played a BRILLIANT (and not to mention, 1day-belated) April Fools' Joke on people!!!! wh00t ^^ *grins*
hehehz. i smsed zhengxun and darrell saying that i had received the confirmation letter for CAP camp and that the confirmation letter was supposed to be sent out in mid-to-late March, and asked if they'd gotten the letter yet. BOTH of them fell for the trick!! *falls off chair laughing* darrell replied that no, the postman hadn't come yet, while zhengxun said no, he hadn't gotten the letter yet.
later in the afternoon, (just now) [ah mah] Veron called me, and asked to confirm if i had gotten the CAP confirmation letter. i said no, it was only an April Fools' day joke and the next moment, she was screaming in my ears. LOlzz. her sister was imitating her screaming. *laughs* later when she had chhilled a bit, i asked her how she came to know of the joke. turns out that zhengxun gor asked lots of other people who signed up for CAP whether they had received the letter. so now it seems that i had given about 5 people (going for CAP) the fright of their lifetime.....*sticks out tongue* LOlz......
Later Veron phoned back and said that Karen was screaaaaaming when she heard it was a joke. LOlzz! Veron complimented me and said that it was "a most BRILLIANT, believable joke". LOLz! *grins*
after that i smsed zhengxun telling him it was a joke. oh YES now i fooled him! him who was saying yesterday that he hadn't been tricked by any joke at all...=P intended to give him a short annoying call saying "haha happy BELATED April Fools day! you fell for the joke! BLEEEEAAH" and hang up, further antagonising him, but unfortunately the "subscriber was unavailable". LOlz.

renyi just called, saying liewqi was over at her house and asking if i could go over to her house now. as usual, i enthusiastically agreed. hmmph my mom always seems to dampen my enthusiasm, going (as she is now) in chinese "WHY do you have to go over? for what? huh?" then "i WARN you, if you go over, you'd better not come home and do any more exercise" "you're misbehaving more and more and you grow older" which is (yue4 da4 yue4 bu4 xiang4 hua4) LOlz. sigh.
looks like i can't finish the Friends page today. >.< but nevermind. at least i've got the satisfaction of successfully fooling people! ^^ hehehz....i'm gonna get killed by lots of people....no people, don't kill me.....=P *huGz* sorry la, but it was quite fun, wasn't it? this's my most brilliant April Fool's day joke so far...hahaha. =P
