Good Friday!today was a FUN day, on the overall (as it is already Tuesday night and i'm going to sleep soon, i shall be quite brief, sorry to disappoint readers who have been expecting a looong, detailed recount of the day's happenings *grins* =P hehez) anyway, i went to meet Eve at Newton MRT at 10 am, though i was, as usual, slightly late *grins*, and then we went to Aljunied MRT, met Hee da Chiobu there, and went to Singapore Swimming Club (or something like that), and waited for ONE full hour for darrell to come back from his haircut, or something. LOLz.. (finding it really hard to be concise without adding all the details and all. blame it on my GD memory HAHA *pukes* *as if* *grins*) anyway he fiinally arrived and we went to the bowling alley, and while darrell was registering i was freaking out and repeating the fact that i had NEVER bowled before, and no, i didn't know how to bowl at all. i took the bowling shoes size 6, but it's kinda funny because while it fits my left foot perfectly, it was a little too loose for my right foot. then darrell went first (followed by me, then hee da chiobu, then eve), and i was perfectly astounded when he hit 8 on the first bowl, and got a splat (i THINK. my memory's failing me. *laughs*) then after that it was my turn and i was perfectly ASTOUNDED when i managed to hit a 4 on the first bowl! *laughs* i guess i was expecting to hit a gutterball (which i did for quite some rounds later, before i acquired, partially, the technique of hitting straight. *grins* LOlz!) but i was so happily surprised that i didn't know i had a second go and was wandering off somewhat dazedly when they started calling, "qintan, qintan!! you've another go!". how blur can i get. hahahaha! after that hee da chiobu was going on about how i would crack my fingers break my nails and all that crap, that i started losing concentration and went on a gutterball-row, and went for several times hitting 0-0. after that when i had overcome partially the fear of breaking my fingers and started noticing and trying to make my hand go straight, i started scoring more! but that was in the end-of-second; beginning-of-third round. anyway darrell's and eve's bowling skills are simply....superb!! professional!!! all those splats and strikes. i can only go...whoa..... *laughs* yeah. haha. zhengxun was particularly funny to watch. he had a funny bowling stance and one time, bent over, held the bowling ball (scooped in his hands), between his legs, and ROLLED it!!!! it was SO FUNNY! naturally it was a gutter ball...but the spectacle was simply so comic and refreshing!! *laughs* *grins* hehe. and he bowls too rushedly (is there such a word?) to hit strikes or splats. but one time he got a 9...and that was only one time *grins*. but then again, i'm not much better. 1st round was a practice round; i got the lowest score. 2nd round i was in darrell's team, and zhengxun was in eve's team, and the forfeit for the losing team would be jumping 20 times. (real laaame, haha). in the end darrell and i lost, coz i was so lousy and kept hitting gutter balls 4 times in a row haha. so i jumped 10, he jumped 10. zhengxun jumped 10 for nothing in the middle of the game because he thought he was going to lose. *laughs* yea and we had great fun changing the names of the players on the automated scoreboard as well. *grins* hehehz. but i got 55 for my best round (pathetic, i know, but it's the VERY first time) while Hee da Chiobu got 45!!!hahahahaha! eve and darrell, needless to say, got 100-overs. very pro. haha. anyway we paid 7 bucks each for the game and went for (free) lunch after that. we snatched darrell's handphone and he was freaking out. i wonder what secret messages he has stored. *grins evilly* then i snatched it away again and looked at the call register and somehow i managed to see the name "denby" before it was snatched back again....now we know.........*grINs* haha i'm being lame haha. during lunch, they were discussing what eve ate normally, and zhengxun said "eve eats bananas" and then both of them started laughing hysterically. i mean, really HYSTERICALLY. i was wondering what was so funny, but in the end i figured it was something sick (based on their hysterical laughter) and decided not to ask further. i left a whole lot of my rice unfinished, as usual. after that eve and darrell went to the office (i think) to book the badminton courts while zhengxun and i went straight to the badminton courts. he was teaching me how to erm, pass soccer ball??? LOlz. and in the middle of passing the soccer ball, some laaame crappy security guard walked in and said we weren't allowed to play soccer in the badminton court. i was fine with that rule, but then he said all the people playing badminton had to WEAR WHITE TSHIRTs (due to some British colonial army crap he explained). i mean. what the CRAP!!?? that rule was so laaaame! and then darrell and eve came and he lent me his white SSC super-OVERSIZED tshirt which i wore over my tshirt and he went to the toilet to switch tshirts with hee's orange one. hahahhaaha! so FUNNY! then after that, i played competitive badminton against zhengxun, and he won 2-0. bleah. at the first match it was because i was so muddled up with all the rules that i had to ask every minute (whose turn is it???) and at the 2nd match it was because i was too tired. no stamina. and there were some times when i thought the shuttlecock was going to land OUT, it landed IN. haha. but after the game i was really so exhausted that it was like....hot on the inside and cold on the outside? that tingling associated with fatigue? haha. but if it WAS metabolism i'd be right happy. *grins* HEEHEHEHEHE. after badminton we went to the ARCADE. the air-conditioned arcade. a wonder i didn't get sick. hot and cold. LOlz! but the arcade was quite...pathetic.... it was SO SMALL!!! worst of all, NO DDR!!!! *wails* LOLz! *grins* ok so i'm obsessed with DDR...put a DDR machine near me and i'm stuck on it for 2 hours AT LEAST. *laughs* but i played car-racing with zhengxun and i LOST. so sad. the car OVERTURNED somewhere near the bend and he CAUGHT UP. evil. and some evil purple car banged me from nowhere. haha. then we played table-soccer. zhengxun took the red team and darrell and i took the blue team. i controlled the striker line. eve just stood there watching..referee i guess, LOlz! it was quite fun! just that i was quite bad at controlling the silly thing but managed to score 3 or 4 goals ALTOGETHER haha. yea. LOlz. forfeit for losing team -- pay 50 cents for the next game. in the end zhengxun paid the money because somehow darrell bargained and zhengxun was so hooked up in the game he didn't care and just paid the money, haha! anyway after arcade we went to play POOL. and i DIDn'T have the FAINTEST idea HOW to play it, what it was. but we didn't play pool, coz it was booked. we played BILLIARD. even worse. just this HUMONGOUS table. *laughs* yea! and the looooong poker-like thingys. sticks? rods? haha. comforting thing is hee zhengxun didn't know how to play it either, but he seemed to learn it faster than me. darrell was especially pro in billiard, and eve was very good in billiard too! just wandered around watching them play. but i managed to SCORE ONE red ball!!!! (no no no, i DIDN't dunk the ball into the hole, though i was tempted to. *grins*) then they played pool, and i didn't know how to, and got so bored that i took out my science notes and started reading them. and after watching darrell and eve play for a while, Hee da Chiobu got bored too and took out his CHI COMPO and started doing it. surprisingly he wouldn't let anyone go near his compo, and didn't want anyone to read. hahahhaa. well i managed to finish scanning through one set of sandy tan's notes at least. after that we all dispersed, and eve and i took darrell's car to the MRT station, and we went to Newton MRT, then alighted, and took a bus together towards NY, and she got off near coro. i think she's nice! *beams* anyway the day's outing was really fun. and oops, i realise this isn't a concise / brief summary. but i could have written much longer. my "fantastic" memory. *Yah RIGHT* *laughs* bleah. supposed to sleep early, but well. ok seeyaz!
