YES! our group's project has been selected for the Public Speaking finals!!!!! *jumps for joy* i really hope we can do nanyang proud, with all these keen competition and high expectations... but i guess, we'll just do our very best. now i still have to rush finish my speech. haha, i was doing the intro and the conclusion originally, but Ms Choo said i spoke too fast and my voice was...too high, and i was more suited to doing the middle part, with all the elaborate details and all. LOL. but i agree too. the conclusion has to make an impact, and a dense, deeper voice would have more impact. LOL. so now i shall rush rush rush my speech. AND the geog project. they're meeting online via MSN, but i can't....parents don't allow me to go online that late, on normal weekdays. fridays and weekends yes, but weekdays......they'll holler. so i guess i had better do finish all those work, piled up so high. seeyaz

oh YAY!!!! i received an award from laina jie!!! *jumps up and down* so nice of her!! *huggles* hehehe....i feel guilty now coz i haven't updated the update page......LOL! oooooops....my speech!!! *scrambles* LOL. nvm. i'll HAVE TO finish it no matter what. =) cheers and smiles everyone! ^^

haha yesterday stayed up really late to finish the Public Speaking Proposal. i stayed up till 12 mn!! unbelievable. was dozing off in front of the computer. maine and yawen stayed till past 12, and poor nat stayed up till 2 am. no wonder she was really tired today. hahaha LOL. but well. it was most fortunate our group didn't have to present today, due to technical difficulties and shortage of time. i mean, PHEW, seriously! we're going to present tomorrow, but a geog project is due tomorrow too. how unfortunate. sigh. i still have to do the geog w/s!!! =S
and to my group members, hehe, you're all really GREAT!! *huggles* i'll bring my dustbin tomorrow! *grins* btw... to my group members if you're all reading this...........i really appreciate the effort you guys put into this project, the selflessness of sacrificing your sleeping time for this group project! *huggles* i love you guys! =) I'll try and put in my very very best for this project....let's hope we get selected. but even if we don't, we still can look back, and treasure the commitment of everyone, the hours sacrificed, for the benefits of our group. THNX a LOT!! ^^ *grins*

haha yay it's Monday, a new week! today i was busy trying to rush finish my AEP drawing of still-life (theme: fruits and glass. it's of several glassware, one of them a pretty fan-shaped glass plate with grapes on it, and silver chopsticks etc), which i was trying to rush finish the night before, but didn' complete (stayed up till 11.40 yesterday night!!). but then again, that was only because i spent the WHOLE afternoon at Nat's house finishing our Geog project. and speaking of Nat's house.....
it's HUGE!! it's so HUGE and PRETTY and so...RUSTIC!!! i don't know. it just has got that island-resort feel to it. but it's so far (quite far anyway) into Sixth Avenue (oh yes yes...that prestigious high-class place where Goh Chok Tong lives...i saw his HUGE house btw. so many guardhouses! and such a HIGH, WHITE WALL surrounding it!!!) anyway it's 2.5 storeys high, and when i entered the house, i was like..."awwww!!!!! sooo NICE!! pretty pretty house!!!" LOL!!! ok..the walls are made of fake rock-bricks, wheat-coloured, i think. it's really nice. and the staircase faces the door. and underneath the staircase there's a little fountain-pond thing, with lights. really pretty! and Nat's room is...absolutely cool. she had a sabre danging from the foot of her bed, and i was taking the sabre and thrusting it towards Maine (charmaine) and Maine was cursing Nat for hanging the sabre at the foot of her bed, within my reaches. *laughs evilly* haha. but Nat's parents' room is COOLER!! it has this attic-like thingy that's converted to a study room. and a huge, tall wardrobe (semi-wallk-in). so half the time i was jumping from the attic onto the top of the tall tall wardrobe. pretty scary, especially if you're afraid of heights. but once you make it there, you just keep wanting to jump to and fro the attic and the top of the wardrobe. the top of the wardrobe's pretty much like a mini-stage anyway, so i took Nat's (parents') hepatitis B info book (quite heavy), jumped to the top of the wardrobe with yawen (who had a greater phobia than me), and started practising "catwalk" up and down the wardrobe. and one time we were doing it halfway, Nat's parents entered the room, to find these two crazy girls walking up and down the length of the TOP of the WARDROBE. they were gaping at us. then they laughed and asked Nat if she taught us to get there. they're so COOL!!!!! *grins* after they came out from the toilet and went away, yawen pointed out to me that both of them shared the toilet at the same time, and i just relayed the observation to Nat. after that she was yelling and screaming and banging her head against the table, while we were all laughing our heads off. then she was trying to kill me first, and yawen later. *laughs*
so anyway, we were quite slacky after our (DELICIOUS!) teabreak in the garden, enjoying old chinese songs, and we discussed the subject of wealth, which started because of me commenting that Nat was RICH. i discovered that a lot of GEPpers are very rich, or at least, their parents are. see. Nat. there's shean han, and there's Vic, who's super-rich but super-nice too. and Joyce Tie, whose supposedly the richest girl in nanyang GEp sec 2. her father's an oil tycoon in thailand, i think. sigh. that makes me feel so inferior. i only live in a lousy condo, though it's quite an expensive one. but still. *laughs* NEVERmind. it's quite ok, i guess. not too bad. hahaha! LOL
anyway, Nat's house has a JACUZZI!!!! i am soo TOTALLY IN LOVE with the JACUZZI!!!! *laughs* ok...joking..but still. It's really nice. has a nice stained-glass kind of top (there's no ceiling, just a glass top. but well.). and there's plants around, and lamps. those candle lamps and oil lamps. not electric lamps. talk about rustic beauty!! awww.... anyway Nat's mom said we could hold our class party at her house (yippee!!) and i suggested that our GROUP sleep over at Nat's house after the class party. *laughs* and I said i Book the Jacuzzi! hmm...sleep in the jacuzzi? LOl. ridiculous. but i'm gonna bathe at night. it's gonna be real cool. but i guess i'd book the guest room. the WHOLE of the guest room. the others can go sleep on the top of the wardrobe *laughs*. Hey i'm joking. we'll share the guestroom. =) btw. Nat's house is completely designed by her mom!! talk about coolness!
anyway. enough of yesterday's recounts. oh. today, i was practically dozing off through lessons (surprise! surprise!), esp chinese lesson (surprise again!), because i was sooo TIRED!!!! and exhausted! and quite unwell, initially. but after that eng lesson was, as normal, interesting, so i revived. and survived. and died again during IRS. sigh. seeyaz
